We have established ourselves as one of the most popular and successful of Farmers Markets.

Supporting over 80 food related food artisans throughout the year at any one time dependent upon the season, the market has it's own food community. 

Behind the scenes are some very dedicated people from stallholders to the market management team.

We are seeking a new Market Manager Assistant to work alongside us and help us continue the good work every Friday morning.

If you have an appreciation of the Localisation movement, a love of Farmers Markets and you fit the requirements below then get in touch.

You will need to:

Have a current drivers licence and your own transport. 

Be prepared to start at 7.30am every Friday no matter how wet or cold or hot the weather is. (Summer start from Oct is 7am until 1pm).

Be fit, quick and strong; you will have to assist in erecting gazebos and carrying furniture.

Be multi tasking; you will often have to use your eyes in the back of your head and the ability to move very quickly early and efficiently. 

Be familiar or confident enough to learn how to operate an EFTPOS machine, cash and other administration as required.

Be completely trustworthy and  tidy in habits.

Be extremely friendly, polite, informed, patient and also firm and tolerant as you need to deal with customers, stallholders, management and anyone else who may challenge, question, enquire or request information from you.  You should have a good sense of humour too.

Your hours are 7.30 until 1pm;  5.5 hours. (To increase to 6hrs from Oct to April). 

Pay rate to be discussed upon receipt of your application.
